Socio is looking for a fast-paced, high energy Executive Assistant that will work directly with the CEO and help turn our fast-moving tech start-up into an organized and efficient operation. You’ll maintain focus on the company’s most pressing priorities while assisting with day to day administrative tasks such as email management, scheduling meetings, planning events, and booking travel.This will provide you with a unique insight into Socio’s operations on every level and give you the opportunity to get involved in special projects that align with your skills and interests. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to executive members.

As a successful Executive Assistant, you will organize internal documents, manage invoicing, and assist in various projects. We're looking for a tech savvy go-getter who is excited by the fast-paced environment that is integral to a high-growth start-up.

You’ll get to:

  • Work directly with the CEO to ensure the Business team operations are running smoothly.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate meetings and other logistics for the CEO and other members of the leadership team as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders: board members, Socio employees, customers, vendors, etc.
  • Track daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports.
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports.
  • Basic administrative duties such as managing e-mail, planning and booking travel, completing expense reports, and helping manage task lists.
  • Provide research and other necessary materials for meetings and events.
  • Assist with planning events, including travel and logistics.
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence.
  • Develop and implement new administrative and operational systems and procedures.

You bring:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting executives or experience in a similar role with transferable skills and the desire to build a career in operations.

  • Strong operational skills and the capability of setting up systems to measure your impact.
  • A resourceful, ruthless drive to hit goals.
  • Tech savvy - familiar with Asana, Slack, Notion, and G-Suite.

  • High levels of emotional intelligence, including exceptional foresight and judgment.
  • Ownership, quality, critical thinking, resilience, and integrity.
  • Motivated to get your hands dirty with the day-to-day aspects of business operations.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and constantly with teams via Slack and other collaboration tools.
