As the product marketing manager, you will be responsible for bringing Socio’s products and features to market while overseeing their collective success. You are a product expert with killer business instincts that can get inside the head of users and our personas to understand how to drive 10x demand and usage of our existing and new products and features.

A creative strategist at heart, you will easily master the competitive landscape and markets Socio serves to help the sales team crush their numbers. This will require cross functional relationships with our sales, customer and product teams as well as a mastery of project management to keep everyone informed and product launches on track.

You’ll get to:

  • Develop Socio’s GTM strategy including positioning, messaging and competitive differentiation of both new and existing products
  • Help craft compelling stories that resonate with our target audiences
  • Own the product and feature launch process and ensure alignment across teams
  • Lead customer and market research initiatives to understand the customer and target market better than anyone
  • Coach the sales team to help them understand the pain points of our target personas
  • Work with the content team to develop effective sales enablement material
  • Drive product-led growth and activation strategies to improve user adoption and overall success of the product
  • Build out a product marketing team over time as the business grows

You bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, and/or consulting
  • Strong project management skills, experience leading initiatives and seeing projects through launch to positive results.You’re business savvy. You love creating business cases and possess a strong ability to bridge business strategy with product knowledge
  • You’re part artist and part scientist, a creative thinker with the ability to back ideas with measurable data
  • You have a deep understanding of the sales process and experience creating sales enablement content
  • Independent, self-motivated, success-driven, and willing to work within a team environment to bring innovative ideas to the organization

Bonus points:

  • Experience with product sold into marketers and/or enterprise customers; consulting experience
